Co-Pastor Lady J is the wife of Pastor Frank and a woman called and chosen by God to lead, encourage, teach, counsel, and inspire people to be the best versions of who God created them to be. Profoundly anointed and true to who she is in Christ and what God has called her to do. Loving wife, mother, counselor, teacher, gospel recording artist, and worship leader who often operates with a prophetic flow. She loves the Lord and His people while living the life she sings about.
Looking back, the formerly known Josette Relliford is a small-town girl from Connecticut that received the call of God at an early age. It was during these tender years her family consisting of her father and siblings performed as a gospel singing group known as “the Rellifords”. At this time “The Rellifords” traveled throughout Connecticut and was often coined as the “Gospel Jacksons.” Early adult years were spent as a tremendous blessing to the pastors and congregation of New Life Christian Church in Ledyard, CT where she served in many capacities including Minister, Intercessory Leader, and Deacon Board for many years. During this season, she met and married the love of her life, Pastor Frank Ables.
In 2007 Lady J released her first Gospel Album entitled “My Song of Worship,” and continues as a Gospel Recording Artist and Music Minister traveling throughout the country. In 2009 under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Frank and Lady J relocated to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Under the leadership of Bishop Keith A Butler, founder of Word of Faith in Southfield Michigan, they were launched into ministry. Today, Pastor Frank and Lady J Ables pastor Overcomers World Ministries in Arlington, Texas.
Lady J is a licensed Belief Therapist through the Thereupon Institute, registered with the state of Texas to assist in crisis interventions. Lady J is also a licensed life coach through The Orange County Life Coaching Company in California. She attended Grand Canyon University where she studied Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling. Lady J is a proud graduate of The Ministers in Training course at the New Life Christian Church in Ledyard Connecticut.
Lady J Ables continues to grow gracefully in many areas of her life! Great things are in store for her as she humbly accepts the Lord’s leading.
